as long as u're as close to 0 camber as possible u'll have the optimal tread wear for the tires u run. I ran a camber kit all around my car, but as low as i am with the camber kit maxed out i'm still -1 degree camber in the front. But its a hell of a lot better than when it didn't have any camber adjustment.

-1 is cool i think me and lenny are still off 1. something degrees. camber isnt what wears your tires fast its the caster and toe that wear it out fast. Thats why alot of people say if your doing a mild drop you dont need the camber kit just get the caster and toe allighned. I think helix is off 2 degrees to and hes fine
i run 1.7 negative on my car, absolutely no tire wear problems.
0 degrees camber? do you realize how poorly your car would handle with 0 degrees? not even honda set the car up with 0 degrees

yeah
front spec on camber for most cars (at least for my eclipse) is like -1 or so, but too much camber will fubar your tires. 0 camber will make your car handle worse, but if you drag race or you just want your tires to last it'll be fine for you.

my car is 1.2 i believe. i can go all the way to 3, which i actually do on race days, then bump one of the crashbolts back in, which fixes my toe and gets me back to 1.7 . too bad i can't adjust the back yet.. damn trailing arm axle.

for performance, yeah. if you look at a g35 coupe, even in the dealership they have retarded camber. i asked a salesman and he's like "yeah, i know, but it really helps the handling of the car" so i shrugged and said "well fuckit, they're buying g35s they can afford to buy tires"
more negative camber on the back helps keep the ass end from swinging around but as far as FWD spec i think the rear should be slightly more if any at all (from the top of my head i think the spec rear on my car may be max -1.5 or something like that, not sure).

90 percent of the time you DO NOT NEED A CAMBER KIT!!!!!
The major factor in uneven tire wear in TOE NOT CAMBER. Toe eats tires much quicker. Just go to the alignment place and ask for 0 Toe and you won't have to waste your money on something you don't really need.

Go to Alignment Factory, Sable Chase,or any other good alighment shop and tell them to set the toe to zero all around. Problem solved.
