Please help me...

The person most dear to me was almost taken from me yesterday, Stephanie, my girlfriend of 9 years, was in a horrible car accident that almost took her life. She had her left leg broken in 2 places, compound fracture at the shin and also broke her femur. her right leg was also broken at the shin.the car had to be cut open to extract her. But bones are bones and can be fixed, the main problem is she suffered a brain injury.

She is in intensive care as you read this and is in stable but critical condition.

IM ASKING PLEASE ANYONE READING THIS TO PLEASE JUST SAY ONE QUICK PRAYER FOR HER. ANYONE THAT KNOWS HER, KNOWS SHE IS THE LAST PERSON TO DESERVE THIS.

i feel so helpless as she lays motionless in a hospital bed and ill i can do is ask for gods help. so please, if you can, say a prayer for her.

shes having some respitory problem and the nurse asked only family to come in because she cant afford to get sick so the less people that see her the better. previously they thought she had a blood clot in her lung but it ended up being a small hole from a rib fracture from the accident, so thats a good thing. they started feeding her yesterday and thats a good thing also. shes gunna be fine, shes still in icu but i stay positive because i know she is a tough person and is going to be fine. i went to see the car at the tow yard today while her dad went to sign the release for the car and there is no fucking way the other guy was doing the speed limit and from looking at the car u can see it was a offset headon collision, his passenger side mirror was lodged in her windshield.

I just read through this whole thread. I am really sorry about what happened. No one ever wants to see that happen to anyone. Especially a loved one. I am positive she will pull through. Just don't do anything stupid to retaliate because that won't change what happened. You want to really hurt him, file charges against him and sue him for everything he's got. nurses say she is doing better, physically she looks the same but her life is in there hands and i trust them 100% in what they say and do. Today she had to have a small tube put into her lung cavity to help releave some of the pressure due to small puncture in her left lung from a rib fracture. its helping her breathe easier. tommorow will be one week :wtc: :wtc: :wtc:

i think she reacted to my voice today!!!!!!!! she moved her left hand, her eyes were moving under her eyelids, and her heart rate increased alot and she was breathing on her own but the nurse had to give her some medicin to calm her down because even as happy as it made me to see her react to me, its not good for her yet to get that excited because her blood pressure goes up too high and its not good for her head injury. but either way i felt so happy this morning knowing all she needs is some time. :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:

well i decided to stay home today, needed a break from the hospital, going a week and a half straight from 10am to 10pm takes its toll. Especially with yesterday being vday. She is doing better, she randomnly opens her eyes, just a blank stare no actually focusing on people or anything but its still a good sign. She got over a small fever she had also, and her cuts are all scabbed up nice.

yah man everything is looking possitive, unfortunately they moved the tube from her mouth to her throat but its a good thing for her, its more comfortable and less chance for infection. she also has been alot more awake lately and today they had her off the respirator for almost 8 hours. she was breathing on her own. she can follow commands but not all the time but thats ok, the important thing is that she has been getting better. and soon hopefully they will take her completely off the repirator so she can get a normal room and not have to stay in the trauma center anymore. its just a sad atmosphere there with all the bad things happening everyday.

another new thing is we found out that the 18 year old punk that hit her, has previous reckless driving charges on his record, so im pretty sure he was eating dick and caused all this to happen to most undeserving person I could think of. but the good news is if everything works out hell be eating plenty of dick in jail.

good to hear that she is doing better. Just give it time she'll get better. O and if she is at memorial any of them dont put the sticker passes on the parking garage wall. I did it everyday for the 3 months my cousin was there and they have a ban on me being there.
