View Full Version : Well it finally started

Then i had to take it apart again :mad2: . When i fired it up it had about 20psi of oil pressure. I checked the simple shit like oil pressure sensor and it was all fine. Then i called the machine shop. LS1's have a plug in the back of the motor under the rear cover....it forces the oil to go through certain oil passages so it will build full pressure. I asked him about it and then he says "did you put it in?" as im yelling "i never took it out!" So after i talked to him around 5pm yesterday i decided to check. I ripped the tranny, flex plate, and rear cover off to find a open hole....jumped around for awhile then i put the plug in it and put the rear cover back on...then we sat around and shot up a radio with my buddys bb gun and shot other shit in the garage then we put the tranny in. Im going to his house now to start it up again and everything should be 100%....only thing im un happy with is this cam sounds a lot bigger than i wanted it to :(

i didnt spend the money i spent on suspension to do rolls ;)

my car should be capable of the same times when its ready. Now if the driver can get the car to those times is a different story. Only time and practice will tell. I was good with it off the line on the stock turbos, but that was a long time ago, and alot less power then it will have now.
