325i here i have a question. i was on us1 and my check engine light came on. i think i messed up a cam sensor b/c last time when the light came on it was that. now it just turned off. wat do u think. this happened on friday night, saturaday and suday.what do u think happened.

like with my car and most that i know of, when your car throws a CEL, there's a way you can make it output a "code." most times it's the pattern of how it flashes, or a number it displays, etc. since you don't know what i'm talking about then it'd probably be best to bite the bullet and take the car to a dealer or someone who knows what they're doing. i don't know bmw's so i can't help there.

same deal with my old sentra. there was a series of pedal movements that would make the SES light flash in a particular pattern.


doesnt autozone or pepboys do free obdII scans?
