Help Needed

Im not too good with computers so i need help...my itunes doesnt work i have windows (os) when i try to open the program it says error report or dont send(those with xp know what im talking about) i reported it and theres some patch from windows saying unistall quicktime but when i go to unistall it under add or remove programs i get this: the following file does not exist or is not a valid uninstallation log file C:WINDOWNS\SYSTEM32\quicktime\unistall.log

yes, that blows. i got so mad that i eneded up rebooting my laptop, now i have more problems like my limewire... its actin a fool.
