Yo i was coming up with decal ideas for my shop and was wondering about like copyrights and junk...for the one of Peter, did u like have to get permission or is it ok to use the likeness of a character as long as u don't use the name?

Others can report you or even sue you. I have never heard of any problems with cartoons. I think the problem can be if you use the image for your own name. For instance the Peter image, as long as you do not use it as your own image you should be good to go. In other words I do not think using a copyrighted image for your own company representation and claiming ownership of such graphic is a good idea.
