and as far as your ab routine, no matter if you are going for strength, muscle conditioning, etc., you need to allow your abs to recover. Abs everyday is not good to do.

don't now about that ... you could do abs but if you don't do cardio to lets say for my case to burn that baby fat, you'll be working forever. Plus not everybody builds ab muscle as quick as other. what i've learned is taking your time with abs, don't rush the ab workout exercise, dont' swing legs up and down all quick trying to show off. your literally lookign like a tard. Plus please don't do what retards at the gym i go to do. they can't go to the locker room to check themselves out, they lift up there shirt after doing there exercise and are like trying to show up nothing basically. noticed that between the ref crowd. pretty funny if you ask me

barney what are you talking about? ricky isnt doing this to get a six pack, he's doing it to get stronger. you can have 30% body fat and strong as fuck abs.

i quoted manny because he said abs shouldn't be worked basically everyday and added a little story of what tards do at my gym.

btw Ricky's training sounds simple for the people that think they could do it. its a nice workout and will get you in shape in matter of weeks to a couple of months.

what exactly do u for "1 hour high intensity training"?
high intensity conditioning
for my one hour of high intensity I do bag drills. Its simmilar to lifting weights because im using the resistance of the heavy bag for my work out. Depending on my mood and whats injured or how much energy I have that day the routine varies. If I have a leg injury I will do one hour of boxing combinations. 5 minute rounds with a 30 secound rest. If I dont have that much energy I will throw in knees and kicks to those combinations. When Im in top form I will do a full routine with punches kicks sprawls push ups knees etc.
I used to do weights to get the same result but im going to be working out the muscle using its application for longer then needed and at the same time getting my cardio conditioning in with it. It also is a sports specific work out. Im trying to train smarter and harder instead of just training harder. Cuz alot of guys split it up but then they work alot harder then they need to.
right now since my hand is fractured I cant hit a heavy bag so I shaddow box with wrist weights to get a similar effect and I do kick boxing combinations.
thai rope
for some of you guys that dont know this is a thai rope

it bassically weighs more then a regular jump rope and stings if you fuck up with bare feet
my abb routine is very bassic and I work abbs out alot because I need to have a core with alot of muscular endurance because its the muscle group thats the most important in grappeling. My abb routine isnt anything riddiculous
100 sit ups
100 leg raises
100 oblique crunches
no weight on them i just need to be able to move around my body weight. Eventually I will be adding on some weight to it gradually because its not doing shit for me any more.

Regardless, if your are bodybuilding or conditioning for strength, your body needs time to recoup.

manny you are correct, but people differ, just the same in their recovery time and their objectives.
