xbox 360 owners feedback

hey guys just wondering if anyone is having problems with their 360 ??
or what u think about the system after playing it.

the system gets a lil hot but it aint crazy hot, all my other systems (ps2,xbox,gamecube) produced about the same amount of heat. i played the system about 3 hours straight and have left it on for about 8 hours ....and no glitches no slowdown no errors ...i got lucky ...

the system is pretty neat ...the menus are nice ....the controller is great

condemned - played a lil bit ,graphics are great creep eerie feeling throughout the game ,control is great ...i got this on my x-mas list

need for speed m/w - first game i got ...the game rocks....hands down my fave need for speed yet ...even my g/f plays it ....graphics are fukin sweet some freinds of mine that have the other versions of it played it and told me that they would buy it again for the 360 ....it has the nfs underground feeling along with the hot pursuit ...i reccommend this one

perfect dark zero - 2nd game i got .....very nice graphics , control is nice ,its an avg fps with a few different elements ..decent game ...and one of the few for 49.99

project gotham racing 3 - played a lil ... sweet graphics , control is badass , first person p.o.v is badass !!!....if ur into sim racing this is a must have.

nba 2k6 - played a bit ....best b-ball game ive played ...and its graphics are amazing ,control is decent.



thats pretty much all ive played .....i played king kong and i almost fell asleep ...played kameo also a small bit and quickly stopped playing.

for launch titles the system got some decent games ....1st quarter next yr is gonna be even better.

at the eb games by my job i saw a bunch of people playing it ...it looked really good and seems to play very well ..the graphics werent as crazy as say nba 2k6 but it looked pretty nice ......

mines doin great also..my co-worker whos also a good friend got one in x-mas too so we be having some madden 06 challanges goin on ..very fun

just got dead or alive 4 last friday its awesome , alot of fun to play ..i beat it with all 16 characters unlocked helena the main bish,.. beat it with her ,got the real ending and unlocked spartan the halo character who is an awesome fighter.

i also got project gotham 3 ....call of duty 2 , nfs m/w, perfect dark zero and condemned.

Madden 06= HUGE dissapointment to me... seems to be a very watered down version..no season mode, (only franchise), No coach challenges, soundtrack is ok, AI is horrible even on All Madden (im still puttin 30 + points on the board), and they need to get all the "major players" face renderings...Jake Dellhome looks constipated. But if you like to jump right in and play football then its great..

Condemmed.....LOVE THIS FUCKIN GAME!!!! as stated above..great graphics...creepy shit goin on too...sittin in the dark with the surround sound up all alone gets kinda freaky.

NFSMW...AWESOME as well..I like being able to jump to races and challenges rather than having to drive for 10 minutes to get to one. Cars look great...and its nice to see them add some exoctics to the mix.

Call of Duty 2= No comparison...BEST

Perfect Dark Zero= I like the multiplayer only, soundtrack is CHEEZZY.

All in all I love the system....I love the HD factor, also the wireless is great ( even though I still catch myself trying to sling a cord around my coffee table)

The only thing I do not like about Madden is that you cannot challenge plays. I love it though. I am addicted to perfect dark zero as well.

yeah ive been playing with some friends ...and we kept trying to see where the fukin challenge option was and then found out there was none...but still the game rocks ..alot of fun.

perfect dark i thought was really boring in the beginning but its starting to get funner ....

yeah condemned rocks ...taking my time with it , heard it wasnt that long of a game ..but its worth beating a few times around.imo

need for speed probably the funnest shit ive played in a while ..what ur highest bounty on 1 chase ?......i got 4.5 million on 1 chase with the clio, the chase lasted 37 minutes was able to lose them right next to the golf course and got very lucky ....my total bounty is over 10 million.

end of the month topspin comes out

and i have ea knockout round 3 reserved ....and plan on getting saints row it looks incredible. gears of war also looks crazy nice.

GRAPHICS DONT MAKE THE GAME FUN GUYS

i had a regular xbox and that thing was shit. the xbox-only games were all shit. only good games were multiplatform games like need for speed and grand theft auto (WHICH IS ALSO ON PS2 OR GAMECUBE)

and that goes for the same shit with ps2.


notice how the original xbox is NEWER than ps2 yet it still had the necessity to make a second system while ps2 is still holding its ground for yet another year.

now one thing i do give microsoft is taht they actually try to improve the same product. for example. the very first xbox came out with a bunch of glitches and a huge controller. in time they made a smaller controller, fixed most of the glitches and did waht they could do keep their promises. whilst ps2 had a bunch of broken promises before it was released and didnt really do much about it.

fact of the matter is that first person shooters is the only thing xbox has going for itself and to play online u gotta pay a bullshit fee whilst sony doesnt charge. now yes xbox has more players online at night (with halo2 at about 100.000 a night and socom at about 45.000 a night)

but think of it this way. if you spend extra money to play video games online you might as well make the most of it and play as much as you can to justify ur petty 50 bux that ur getting raped out of right? cuz ill be damned if i payed 50 bux a year and only played once in a while

the reason xbox is coming out a year early is to get a better market share.


it basically comes down to opinion. i happen to love xbox and would rather play madden and what not on it. not saying that i couldn't play (and dominate) on ps2, i just like xbox better......as soon as i get to the states i am getting the xbox 360 with the second launch

i played fight night today. beautiful graphics. but the gameplay was very weark
i played dead or alive 3 or 4 or whatever the new one was. tekken is still better.
i played quake 4 also. nice graphics but it seemed alot like doom or halflife. which is fine with me as long as its good online.


playstation also has something xbox might never have.

i saw the demo for elders scroll for xbox. gorgeous game if you ask me. this one might be worth getting the xbox 360 but its not my type of game or rpg.

ps2 suckles the teet... they can hype ps3 all they want.. Halo 3 will be released the same day..oh yeah....and most of the older x-box games will play on 360..makes a little improvement..I love the wireless option as well...I dont pay for my live account... :) just a perk of bein a beta tester.

for me right now the best game ive played on 360 is Condemmed....Ima pick up ncaa mvp 06...played it on my buddies xbox and nothing compares to the "tink" of the bats..

both systems will have great games and exclusive games that are gonna make one buy both systems ...im probably gonna get the ps3 once it comes out but i have the 360 and 6 games and i love playing it ..i just dowloaded fight night round 3 alast month and the gameplay is awesome ...i also downloaed the demo for full auto and it rocks also ....

both systems will be very good ...

btw ps3 is supposed to be delaying till year end maybe till 2007 cuz of software problems ...also the systems has been said to possibly sell between 500-800 bux

the nintendo revolution ummmm well i guess well see ..they are gonna use a weak processor compared to that of the 360 and ps3 ...nintendos thing is to make the games more enjoyable and graphics come 2nd ....sounds good but nintendo always does shit different and sorry but they end up behind the other systems i hope it turns out good cuz it looks different.
