i got a 90 Si hatch d16a1 motor nd sumtimes wen i try to turn it on it doesnt want to start.. so i wait 5-10min. and it starts up nice.. sometimes it turns on rite away but it cuts off 2secs. later.. i was thinkin it might b da main realy.. but im not sure... anyone got any ideas??? its pissing me off

main relay is very likely the problem on the 4th gen civics. both my crx's had that issue.

btw, you drive an ED6, not an EF9. check the 3 letters/number after JHM on your vin #.

main relay, bad plugs, bad ignitor, clogged fuel filter, could be a million things.

hah not yet.. havent had time... the car is jus sitting here.. but i will diz weekend.. im 97.9% sure its dat relay tho
