i have both engines .. 2.3 and 2.2 [H22 and H23] ive been thinking about using my 2.3 base and putting my vtec 2.2 head on it to come out with more horsepower and the best torque from both .. many ppl say good things about the power coming from that .. especially fully built and turbo'd .. but then again ive heard theres problems to come with that later .. throw some more inf0 in tha air please

there are a few threads on honda-tech about this. check the prelude forum. try searching for g23. some also use a f22 or f23 bottom end since they are cheap, easy to get and iron sleeves.

built f22 bottom end with h22 crank and rods with custom pistons, h23 head is what i would want to do. no sleeving required.

if you want to build it . its expensive cuz of sleeves. stock setup with bolt ons. ur making good power... you have to see which head you have.. if its for a open or closed deck. it would make a diff. in what u have to do to mate the head. what car is this going in btw?

you need parts from the h22 block to put on the h23 bottom end . like coolant hose andpullies. i got the full set up for sale for 550 with skunk cams. it was in my hatch. good torquey motor.

Trent was telling me about a K head they put on a H block that made amazing power like high 2 I think N/A

My cousin has boosted hatch with a H22 head and a H23 bottom end. It does get expensive but, it works really well. His hatchy made 587 whp at 24 psi.

wow , i like the way that whp sounds and im sure it has crazy torque, im thinking to bore the engine to either 2.4 or 5 and building all motor for boost later, well see
