350z vs Dog

i went up to ft myers this weekend because my dad was had 3 serious surgerys and ive been driving up and down for nearly 3 weeks now. yesterday night i was driving home from ft myers on a two lane road dark as hell when a damn dog jumped right in front of my car that bearly gave me any reaction time at all.

needless to say my z got pretty fucked up... the whole center grill got smashed in and twisted back the a/c condensor. it also broke the bracket that holds the a/c condensor and it cracked the lip of the bumper.:mad:

i donno how much this is all gonna cost me and if its even getting my insurance company involved because i have a $1000 deductable.

i feel ya... i hit a car straight on :-) i rear- ended someone, but now i have a new paint job, fender, front bumper, radiator support, and a carbon fiber hood...so i think it was worth it since it was insurence money. but not worth the points on my license. :-(

I want to know how how bad the dog was hurt, and 1000 deductable, that's insane man. mine is 500 for the truck and 250 for the car.

the dog is dead. damage seems to be just over 1000 from what i can see... tomorrow im taking it to the body shop that my insurance told me. lets see what they quote me.

well ya usually just have to be careful when it's really cold out because they want to find a warm place to sleep. this happened YEARS ago and I still think about it in the morning when it's cold out
