yes do the math. u work like 3-4 days a week but 12 hr shifts. do 40 bucks an hr, 40 hrs a week then take what u make a week times 4 cuz theirs 4 weeks in a month then times 12 for 12 months. roughly its like 70,000 plus. u can earn over 6 figures a year, just depends what department u work in and hospital.

nurses are in great demand. they pay very well and u get a sign on bonus which is like 5 g's and up. theres more male nurses than you think. u only work 3-4 days a week, u get 401k, all that BS. being a nurse isnt all that bad.

brandon hospital near me is hiring rn nurses and they START out at 40 bucks an hr. seen it in the paper few weeks ago.

and when u go to school ur classes will be nuffin but chiks. im tellin u. :naughty: :bowdown: :thumbup: cant wait to go back but other side is like noooo more homework lol. :mad:

Is it true they work an average of 32 hours a week (12 hour shifts x 3 days)??? if that's the case then lpn make an average of $25 an hour and m make $42 an hour? then how much do nurses with masters make?

they call it a pay period. you work 72 hrs for 2 weeks so thats 36 a week. hospitals dont want their employees workin more than 40 hrs a week cuz they dont want u to get burned out cuz ur dealing with humans ya know. a nurse with their masters can make 90 g's+. just like any job field the better the education the better pay you qualify for. a nurse with a masters is called a nurse practioner.

become a lpn which just takes a yr which isnt bad and the experince wouldnt hurt. then go for anesthesiology. but if anesthesiology is what u wanna do and ur sure about it dont bother.
