Caffeiene isn't healthy - nonetheless, it's an FDA approved controlled substance, which can lead to heart disease. I heard eating one or two sugar packets is good, before a workout.

Honestly though... Caffeine is pretty bad. I myself, have been working on cutting it out of my diet. I heard it helps deteriorate the lining of your stomach after years of excessive intake.

But i see that a lot of energy supplements (specific dietary supplements) for pre workout consumption have caffeine + a whole lot of other shit, so i figured, 2 caffeine pills and 2 bananas with a bottle of water 30 minutes before a workout should be fine, as long as im not empty stomach y'know. I figured its better than drinking coffee.

I also dont drink nothing but water the whole day, maybe a 2 sodas a week at most, and they are diet, and i work out 5 times a week, mostly cardio, and when i did it with caffeine i got a lot more done that without. But i wondered of the effects of it, all input is appreciated.

Depends on if you abuse it, which most people DO.
If you have an intake of 400 milligrams a day or more its harmful to you, if you keep it under that then your somewhat safe, but in all honestly who does??... 400 milligrams consist of 16 ounces of coffee or 1 can of coke.

The Physical Effects of Caffeine
It changes the brain's chemistry by blocking the action of a neurochemical called adenosine. "Adenosine basically tells us to slow down," explains Stanley Segall, Ph.D., a professor of nutrition and food science in the department of biological sciences at Drexel University, in Philadelphia, who has studied caffeine for 40 years. When adenosine can't do its job, more neurons fire in the brain, which in turn tells the pituitary gland to release more adrenaline. Within about 15 minutes after you've ingested caffeine, your heart is beating faster, the breathing passages in your lungs have expanded, and your liver has released sugar into the bloodstream to boost your energy. Who would have thought that one little cup could bring on such a cascade of events? Caffeine can also be habit forming. If you abruptly give up your daily cup of coffee, say, you may find yourself experiencing caffeine's hallmark withdrawal symptom, a strong headache.

Mafia Insurance- you are right in taking this before working out though.
"It can reduce muscle pain. Taking caffeine one hour before exercise may reduce muscle soreness during exercise, according to a 2003 study published in the Journal of Pain. "Caffeine might stimulate the release of B-endorphins and hormones that depress the sensation of pain or discomfort," says Segall."

PRO's: It increases alertness, It makes you think faster and improves physical performance, It can reduce muscle pain, It helps treat headaches and increases the effects of some medications, It may help prevent diabetes.

CON's:It disturbs sleep, It increases jitteriness and anxiety, It is associated with fertility problems, Going without it can lead to withdrawal symptoms, It may affect bone health in women who don't get enough calcium, It can aggravate heart problems.

fucking great info, es truly appreaciated.
My sleep would be a little disturbed, but i work out hard and im spent by the time im finished.

I guess the withdrawal symptoms can be controlled if i use less and less the more i get "ripped" or lean or whatever you want to call it.

My diet is balanced so bone problems shouldnt be a problem

If im doing cardio in conjuction with consumption, heart problems are eliminated ? hmmm.
