You gut is made in the kitchen! You need to eat clean and do cardio. Your abs will start to show when you hit about 10-12% BF

but meng, i run like a running from immigration!
and i do cardio and all that shit
I do eat a lot. hmm
im at 16% i estimate

Since im on the road most of the time and i dont really cook, im starting a Wendy's diet of side salad, half a thingy of ranch, and a plain potato for lunch. ($2.36 total)
A shitload of water
and no candy
But i LOVE food
we'll see how it goes.

we'll see how it goes.Have you been doing the workouts? Leg lifts, reverse crunches, theres another workout where you lie on the ground with your feet up and someone pushes it hard and you have to try to keep your feet from hitting the ground. There's plenty of ab workouts, you just have to put a lot of heart into them. My high school coach had me crying when I got home after a very hard workout. Keep up your cardio and push yourself. You'll get the lower 6.

I hope you're getting your abs conditioned. I'm going to take up boxing again when all is said and done. I have a lot of shit to handle with on my side so it might be a while.

But keep this in mind: We're in the same weight class and we are almost the same height. I want to fight you.

You pretty much have to hit a "cutting phase" to lower your BF. That means you need to burn more calories than the calories you eat. You must also eat healthy. Do a search on bodybuilding.com/forum.

I wrote this whole thing abot my workout, and then when i clicked to post, it logged me out. Fuck

I'll fight you anytime.

I do chest workout M W F
Leg workout tues-thur
Both of these on the weight room, for about 30 minutes.

Cardio for an hour everyday, which includes but is not limited to: running, rope, weighted shadowboxing, stairs, hitting the bag, pushus, squats, and 15 minuted only to abs.

Im still not good with my technique, still some rough corners here and there, but im improving.

Oh and I was watching Hajime no Ippo. I tried using that flicker shit when I fought with my friends the other day. OMG...That shit works lovely with my speed and height and reach. And it hurt them a lot. The dudes I fought are swole and are pretty good fighters. Where the hell was this back in high school?! This would've made my fights 10100849023482340978309348x's easier.

I dont know what your talking about. (details plxx)

I do workout my back, i take special care when doing the pushups to keep my body straight, and also do planks which workout the lower back...
And one of my main ab workouts is when you hang from your elbows, and pull your knees to your chest, and that is definitely working out my lower back x2.

For upper back, I do the shadowboxing with 15 pound weights and im the only one (besides the instructor) who does that much weight. That and the pushups make the upperback workout too. I started using the bench because im already at the pushup dead-point, and i need to add more strength.

Cliffs: Definitely taking care of the whole back, and legs.
The squats also add to strenght in the back.
I'll be seeing Gato today and introducing him to the wonders of this gym.
What i do need to improve is my running resistance. I can run 3 miles straight, 1 mile pushing it.

I dont know what your talking about. (details plxx)Look up Thomas Hearns. "The Hitman".

He is known best for his devastating right hand, and for carrying his left hand low — a stance he uses to lure foes into an exchange, as well as to maximize the speed and change the angle of his jab, a technique called the "flicker jab". He has scored many memorable knockouts in his career, and is widely considered as one of the best boxers of all-time.

His style was orthodox. Mine is unorthodox. I twisted his style a little bit to confuse people. And it works like crazy. I didn't use this when I first started to box. I want to use it now. I was already pretty quick without it...But now I'm dead fast.

Here's a vid for his title shot.

If you have speed and reach and power, then the hitman style could be very useful.

I have speed/reach/power, i dont have what i think is enough resistance. Im working on it thou.

No wonder you wanna fight me you fucking bastard. You got technique, all i got is dirty backyard fights and brawls. :mad2:

By resistance, are you talking about defense? Or the ability to take blows?

well when i was in my prime, and to lazy atm to get back into it...

i was in the army and started working out full time at 20. after 3 months i went from 216 to 183lbs and 22%BF to 15%BF. then 3 more months i went from 183 to 192 and 12% BF. 20 hours a week working out M-F 4 hours a day 2 in the morning for metabolism/Army PT(plus 1 hour of my own) and 2 hours in the evening. not until i got to 12%BF did i see my bottom start to form. at 16%BF just the top was visible.

Diet,
1 plain oatmeal package and 1 fruit Breakfast
Can of albacore tuna for lunch and 1 fruit
protein shake for dinner with 1 cup of light yogurt.

so where u are right now i say do MORE CARDIO
Run in 1 min sprints, and 1 min jog, rinse and repeat
Elliptical machine is good too.
Go to the book store(Barnes and nobles) and find Bruce lee's Jeet Kundo and look up his exercising routine.

1. Planks don't workout your back. It works out your abs. Your lower back does have a very small role in planks and that is just for balance.

2. Pushups is a chest, bicep, tricep exercise, not back.

3. The exercise you do hanging from your elbows is called leg lifts. That is soley for your abs. If you feel it in your back, you are doing it all wrong. You are most likely causing more bad than good.

4. Shadow boxing with 15 lbs weights... nope. That works out your deltoids.

Those are very poor choices for "back" exercises. None of those even work out the biggest muscle in your body - The Lats.

Real back exercises include Lat Pull downs, BB or DB rows, Seated Row, and the best back exercise, Pull-Ups.

I'd reconsider your back routine....

Its not my back routine, its my abs and upper body routine, i dont have a back routine, But with all those exercises the back is getting worked out at least moderately.
All the exercises are being properly done, i feel it in back because i know im using the musles in the lower back by default anyways,

BUT,

Please fill me in on a good back routine, and i will look up The Dragon's workout.
