so i crashed, now the guy wants to fuck me over?

i crashed into an f250 on the "daily" driver since my hatch needs a new motor, so my insurance is not covering anything,the f250, the bumper just bent down just a lil, now, he called me since i told him i was gonna take care of the bumper shit and now he's complaining that his "diferential" got fucked up! but yet its a work truck that he takes to broward every week? and he still takes it there after the crash.so is it really fucked up cuz of me or he's trying to fuck me over, do i have obligations to fix that diff or just the bumper? what should i do? all your help is appreciated, thanks

Well, you're at fault... any damages, you will have to pay..and in court, you'd prolly lose. And there may also be more damage then whats visible, and would come up if brought to court. Things like the exhaust, and suspension to name a couple. Im just tryin to show you what all could go wrong for you taking it to court. You gotta be careful about it.

Also... what kind of car were you in?
there is no way you fuck up the diff unless you went all the way under the truck and hit it.

^From what i gather, he didnt file a claim with his insurance because there were no police involved and this was not reported as an accident. He just told the guy he'd take care of it.. and now that its costing more then he expected, he thinks hes getting ripped.

insurance are dicks, unless some one is injured the police shouldnt even be involved in a car accidents and thats wasting alot of resources. insurance is placing a burden on the police and its customers by forcing them to have a police report and its stupid why the fuck am I paying this much if your going to pull some shady shit like that.

Fortunately the police departments are working out a system where if police are called and they have to write a report because the insurance company asks for one then they are going to charge the insurance company lol.

1, i was driving a 4 door civic.

about the insurance, i transfered it to my hatch, the one that i blew the head so thats why i went back to driving the 4 door and this is when this happend. so, yes the cops where involved, yes i got a ticket for no proof of insurance( im fucked) and b4 the cops got there since i only pushed the bumper a lil bit down i told the guy i was gonna take care of it and to call me. (time it was taking me to fix the hatch)
