I always thought that was Co2 that cooled the intake tract and fuel rail. I had no idea that either.....
1. GLI's were that slow stock.
2. That that Cry02 was that good.
3. THe GLI driver sucks.
How much power is that Cry02 suppose to give you??
Do they have any dynos on their site?

Ok The hatch comes awd and fwd the awd is automatic though. all sedans are fwd. The 2006 line added the awd to the sedan but its still automatic. Its nice to see more posts about aerios..I never though id be seing another post..Im lovin it..Go to google video and look up suzuki aerio youll see a few races .

Please actually use the internet to read up on something besides pron. Cryo is NOT nitrous in any form. It is a tank system that uses Co2 to cool your fuel rail, intake, and/or intercooler. It does not in any form go into your intake tract as injecting Co2 would be useless. Link to product:http://www.designengineering.com/products.asp?m=sc&cid=1
Read FAQ: http://www.designengineering.com/products.asp?m=sp&pid=1&tid=4
For the lazy:
Q: Won’t CO2 deprive the engine of Oxygen and stall the engine?
A: Yes it will, but CO2 is NOT being introduced into the air stream. We are harnessing the cryogenic power of the CO2 to charge various heat sinks to cool the air and fuel charge.
Q: Is this like Nitrous?
A: No, nitrous oxide is an oxidizer which actually adds oxygen into the intake charge. We are simply cooling the intake charge to help reduce the effects of heat soak and provide a denser intake charge. Since we are only cooling the air, this system is much less likely to do serious harm to your motor.

i agree. aerios do have good pull. im pretty sure i wouldnt be able to beat a stock 5spd no matter what(damn nissan auto tranny). i was never able to find headers for that 2.2L. did they make one already?

Dude you already ran me in the red gsr..yeah im 5spd...Finding parts for the aerio has been almost impossible the only thing i found was the cold air intake i put on..that helped somewhat. You can probrally bolt on some custom headers...Thats what id do
drgnzadiel101
12-31-2005, 12:24 AM
thats what i figured. too bad peopel dont know that the aerio is an escudo awd with the k24 motor twin turbo 6spd. if u can get that motor in that aerio and manage to keep it awd and posibly swap a 5spd in there..ur set!

Nitrous should be only used for one thing - spooling big turbos.
thats what brake boosting, 2 steps and anti lags are for. nitrous should be used to make more power.

What's stopping him from filling the bottle with nitrous?? looks like he has all the parts there.
If he says he didn't he didnt, BUT theres always the possiblity.

and what about the needed extra fuel and a nozzle? It just seems someone would just buy a cheap nitrous kit and not pay extra $$$ and extra trouble to convert a Co2 system to N2o. But you never know.

Dood they make intakes out of PVC piping. YOU NEVER KNOW :p
Edit: Don't forget dry kits don't use the extra fuel line and selenoid.
