Wow, I just found the video, it was made a while back... My C32 on its current tune (and busted engine mounts) vs this guys VF Engineering Stage II supercharged Volkswagen R32. And then whored his brother with a bolt-on fox body stang.

Specs:

C32
Supercharged SOHC 3.2L V6 with RENNTech stage I
RWD, 3600lbs

VW R32
VF Engineering Stage II Supercharged DOHC 3.2L V6
AWD, 3400lbs

its supercharged r32( not saying that it is slow),, if it was turbo charged i think he would have given the benz a run. that r32 is some were in the 350's and teh c32 is some were in the 400's because it does say renntech, so if it was tuned and as some after market it would be in the 400's. :)

btw, thanks for the props guys... i was quite impressed with the results of this car with just pulleys, software, and plenum!!! Cant wait, 2 years down teh line im gettin rid of the C32 for a used SL65 AMG!!! The SL will mean business, with software alone it can make over 1000lb ft of torque!!

FYI:

VF Stage II Supercharger Kit for the R32 produces approx. 300 whp/250 torque.

Single Turbo kits for the R32, yielding up to 400-540 whp cost between $8-12k depending on the company. No one should underestimate these cars.

I plan to go FI this summer.
