View Full Version : Theives strike again
Yeah so my brother just got his new house robbed, lukily he hasn't moved in yet and they only took a few hundred dollars worth of stuff. They stole his portable DVD player he had there to keep the kids busy as he finishes the house, took the digital camera he was using to document the work as he does it. and a drill mixer for mixing the compound that is used to lay the tiles. what's even worse is the fact that the DVD was borrowed from a friend, the mixer was also borrowed. So not only did he lose things so did the godmother of his kids as well as there uncle (wifes side).
I went over there and have setup my old laptop and 4 night vision cameras to see if they come back. All camera are hidden as well as the laptop. They are all setup on motion detection so if anything moves in the house i'll have it on video.
Fuck with my family once shame on me, fuck with my family twice i'll own your ass.

Wow would make me not want to move in
Wow would make me not want to move infuck that, my brother worked his ass for that house, he deserves it. once they are fully moved in i'll have a full motion security camera system setup for a good few months and then decide if I need to keep it up longer.

I have cameras on the outside but old school not digital how much would a good digital set up costi payed about 200 bucks a camera for the night vision digitals, they all wire into my computer and record individually.
right now I have them setup to record if anything at all moves. Basically i'm getting a lot of recording from one of the bushes that moves when the wind hits it but that's no sweat to scan them and make sure they didn't catch anything.
I like having them setup for motion detection because they store like 2 seconds of video before the motion occured, so that helps if the person if trying to evade the camera and get around them withough detection.
smart thieves won't go to the same place twice.

that sucks bro, i would be scared with that if I had kids. I understannd you completely because if it had happened with his kids at home-- well you know. Good work with the security system.
