...speak for your self, I was born in NY, and lived there. Like every team that has created a DYNASTY there will always be haters like you. Same thing is said with the brasilian football team fans..and if your a true yankee fan then you know they will come back, but when it all boils down to it no other team in the MLB has accomplished what the yankees have done. i'm no yankees fan, i always go for the home team. i could care less about how much the marlins suck. they ended the season on a positive note by screwing over the mets :rofl:.
but from a generic baseball standpoint, i believe the yankees will represent the AL in the world series. they've been playing top notch baseball and almost clinched their division title. but after watching last night's game they better get their game straightened out to get out of the first round. i'm sure they will.

I have alot of respect for the Marlins. They are a good ball club, and deserve a stadium...screw the mets! I remember the days of Jeff Conine and Moises Alou, what a team that was! As far as the NL goes Im a Marlin Fan...two teams I hate are Atlanta and the Sox. and to those that hate baseball, i dont know what your backgrounds are or whatever the case may be. I know that if your Puerto Rican, Cuban, or Dominican..you most likely have grown with the sport. Im Puerto Rican and Cuban and grew up watching and playing Baseball, and love the sport!

I'm not a wannabe bandwangon fan I grew up watching the Yankees play with my dad. Back in the 80's when Ch. 33 would show all there games on Tv. So I've been and always will be a Yankee fan.

for real. why can't the city just have one united fan base which sticks around through the good and the bad times? for example look at the cubs fans. sure they're cursed if you choose to believe so lol, but all jokes aside they have one dedicated fan base. it'd be cool to see miami's fan base support the local teams like that. just for the record i support the south florida teams with the exception of the florida panthers. and that's just because i don't watch hockey.

I was always a baseball fan since i started playing tee ball until i stopped playing in high school and im still a huge fan. I always cheer for my HOME team. I could care less for what teams were hot and who was playing for them, i cheer for my home team and still do despite despite the record I'm always a fan of South Florida sports teams =) .
Just like the Dolphins... they can go 0-16 but i'll still wake my ass up every sunday early ass fuck and watch the game. Same go for the Heat, heck even the Panthers.

im kinda too sided with him...i hear the angels have strong interest in him. the yankees have good young talent on the rise..the keep a close eye on the minor league division...but enough..is enough...the boss wants a shiny new ring. i dont think a-rod or torre is going anywhere, yankees whole pitching staff suked this year that why i knew they werent going to make it, i say a-rod and torre not leaving this year cuz next year is the last year of the yankees studium, so im sure they want good palyer and not no rookie for the last year of yankees studium.

If Yankees get rid of Torre, that will sway a lot of the players decision whether or not they will want to stay. They all have a lot of respect for Torre. Word is, if Torre is gone, Tony LaRussa will take up Torre's Yankee Skipper position. That is why LaRussa still hasn't made any decision with the Cardinals organization.
IMHO, Cashman should be the one Steinbrenner should be getting rid of.

I personalty think they should have not gotten Roger Clemens back. They could have spent that money to get some better up and coming pitchers that would pay off in the long run.
