Hey all, Ive looked around this site and I really like how its set-up. Probably one of the nicest sites Ive been on. Thought Id post my car, Im sure some of you have seen it. Shes my baby, and my money whore:D

2.2L SOHC 12valve motor. Recently swapped with 92 Probe GT motor with 35,000 original miles.
Completely stock
Small T3 at 15-22psi of boost.
Crappy intercooler pipes w/ crappy FMIC
DSM 390's
Walbro 255lph
EPROM
3in turbo-back out the side. No cat, no muffler.
ACT clutch

I was running about 22psi of boost but my turbo couldn't keep up, plus it needs a rebuild BAD. The whole turbo set-up will be ditched and redone. New manifold, turbo, external wastegate, new intercooler pipes and intercooler. I love my single cam!!!

You should consider a FE-3 swap. Very cool cars. I have a boy who has alot of knowledge with these cars. He use to own Street Legal Imports. His MX-6 was making over 500 whp.

Thanks. When I first threw them on there no one liked them. AT ALL!!! My parents hated them, people on my forums hated them. They have to grow on you. Now people actually like them.
So Ive heard, these are pretty rare rims. Theyre BBS "Vert" wheels that are standard on convertible FC Rx7's. About 12lbs each.:smile:

I believe its Greddy. The RSX is a very nice car. I love driving it. Recently ran a 14.2@98mph with a 2.3 60 foot. Intake, header, and exhaust.

Im trying to make the most HP out of the stock motor. When I mean stock, Im saying untouched. No porting or any kind, and also limited tuning. So far Im doing good with just dropping in bigger injectors.
Yes I have a wideband also.
Was it an Mx6 (2 door) or a 626 (4 door)?? Only guy I know somewhat local with the FE-3 is JayB. He has a maroon Mx6.

The FE-3 is too much work IMO. It needs to be built, needs standalone to run right.

The FE-3 is too much work IMO. It needs to be built, needs standalone to run right.

Ahhh yes. I remember seeing a vid of that car racing a modded Z31. The Mx6 was pretty even. I was hoping that was his stock motor, not sure. Sounded like he was shifting low. Was he known as "the silver Mx6 w/ a black bumper?"

He seems to really love those FE's? Im trying to go as far as possible with my stock F2T. Im sure I'll end up going FE-DOHC sometime.:smile:

Nice find!!! I picked up a 89 Probe GT for $500!!!!! Mint, 108,000 miles, gold/silver. Installed my old Dropzone springs. Click on Mason in my sig.

btw, how well built is that motor that you are running 22 psi on? you say its a probe engine, is it turbo from the factory? i thought probe gt's had 6 cyl engines.

No recent dyno numbers. About 2 yrs ago I had it dynoed. 13psi, stock injectors, and a HUGE boost leak. Car wouldnt move till 3rd. Put down 210whp and 247ftlbs. As of now, Im guessing 250whp and 280-300ftlbs. The motor makes torque.

The motor is damn strong, might have to do with the 7.8.1 compression. Hahaha. Yea, its low. The Mx6/Probe GT's are turbocharged stock, its a Mazda motor. The Probe Lx's have the Vulcan V6's. Put down the same power stock as the turbos just a more flat torque curve.

I was the starter of SFLAPOC (South Florida Probe Owner's Club) down here in South Florida. I used to have a red 89PGL. One day JayB came down to SFP to pick up a turbo manifold that was made for his FE3 to match up to a Porshe turbo...I met up with him and he gave me a ride in that beast. With 4 people in the car his tires were spinning all the way through 4th gear. He needed an LSD badly...I heard eventually he put one in.

Yea he did. He ended up putting in a 2G Mx6 Quaife diff. Cost him around $1200 to get it to fight but he said it was worth it. He gave me a ride in that car before he went crazy on that motor. I mean, even his old set-up was over 400whp. So I heard, its now a 2.4L, head work, custom cams, and custom crank. Havent seen him in a while. The Mx6 turned into a project car because he bought an Evo8.
