Here was my first day with the Carbon 15...

Wind was varying 18-25 MPH Moving from West to East....

and 10 bucks buys you some rounds @ walmart... 9mm @ 100rnds :)....

Trail Glades only does like a safety class... they read you a sheet of paper and tell you to point the gun down range AT ALL TIMES....... Really nothing at all then they give you a membership card and you never have do to that again....

Well i have 3 firearms...

Assault Rifle (Carbon 15)

HK USP 45

SA-XD Sub Compact 9mm...

If alot of people want to come then I'd like to set something up for safety reasons...

There are 2 sides to the range the rifle and the handgun side,

You can shoot (sitting down only) at the rifle side both Rifles and Handguns... But the problem is a rifle can reach further distances more accurately.. So if you setup the target far you are truly wasting your shots with a handgun.

The handgun side is more practical. You have to stand.. But its better for the pistols.

So it'll suck to go with the pistols and rifle and have to be alternating between the two sides just to make sure everything is ok.

Altima .. Do they have restrictions on the type of weapons your allowed to bring ? What do they have as far as Range 100m 200m let me know i never heard of it and i like shooting and never found a real good place in S. Florida

NO restrictions other than the gun has to fit in your entire hand... cant dissapear in your palm....

No rapid fire

and no sawed off shotty's

If you bring a shot gun it has to be a slug..

If you can gain access to the back side you'll have more fun...

its the SRT section for FBI,Military Spec Ops,SWAT,etc.....

There you can throw grenades, full auto fire... etc......

Tell her a 9mm is plenty of fun with nearly no bang...

If she wants She can come see it and try if she likes....

The hardest part is getting her to try at first... once she hits the paper 2-3 times you'll notice she'll get into it.. Chances are she'll shoot better than anyone else... Women take it to a personal level they want to prove that they can be just as good if not better than a male.

This is the 2nd time i went out with the AR.... @ 75 yards.... wind was much better 3-6mph with some gusts to 10mph....

Same ammo used as last time.

tamiami. at the youth fair expo center. saturday and sunday. they're giving cwl classes 2x a day there too. we'll be takin' it on saturday i believe.

i was considering buying an AK or a shotgun but i think i'm just gonna pick up some extra mags and ammo and wait a little while longer before buyin' another gun.

Mafia : Do you plan on getting your CWL ? If so I suggest a pistol. If not, get a shotgun for your home. I don't know what kind of pistol you can get for $150. Shotguns can run as cheap as $100 new. I think you should save up a little more cash and buy a nice handgun, they last forever and a day so you won't be going through them like tires or anything like that.

I'm not sure what he can get for that little money. My 9mm cost mid 300's and that's not even a high end pistol. If you wanna go used, that's a different story . . . even still I'm not sure what you can get for that little money.

Best bet is just to wait and save up a little more cash, and get something decent.
