For thread openers...

They should have the ability to close and edit their own threads, once 'the shit starts to hit the fan'. Personally, I hate to see decent threads get jacked, from such nonsense. Thus, making the forum LESS enjoyable for the thread openers.

If they feel that way, they can PM an admin or mod and request that the thread be closed. :)
