last time i went to a rey's pizza and the pizza was thick, but it wasnt toasted, and it was just a shitload of (what seemed) just tomato sauce and half cooked toppings....And it was expensive. SSSOOOOOO thats why i wanted to try it again because i believe that i had a bad experience.

yeah cuban pizza is basically the way that slammed TL described it. and of course the toppings will vary. it's not what you usually find at american pizza places. they looooove pouring on the cheeze too.

another cuban pizza place that's good is Montes de Oca.

they sell cuban variations of other stuff too. Like spaghetti con jamon, or spaghetti con chorizo.

el rey de las fritas is ftmfw. it's basically a cuban burger but they don't use the same cheap ass meat that americans do. it's got a little more kick to it. and it usually comes with papitas pik nik (the same ones they put on pan con bistec).

for some bomb ass jugos de frutas . . . you gotta go to this other cuban place "El Palacio de Los Jugos." They have juices from all of our favorite fruits. Guayaba, mango, mamey, etc.

They also sell THE BEST CHICHARRONES you will ever eat. AND, they've also got some bomb-ass masitas de puerco, pan con lechon, spaghetti con jamon, and other chet. YUM.
