hey guys, i wanted some feedback on this. im in my 3rd year @ fiu pursuing a pol. science degree. in the past few weeks i started realizing that for what i want to do, a pol. science degree wouldnt be the best option. i intend to work for the DEA/FBI as an advisor or agent. ive been thinking of switching majors to criminal justice. with that said, i have a few questions

1. any of you guys switch majors this far in?
2. any of you switch from pol. science to CJ?
3. any CJ majors out there that can give me some pointers, advice, etc..?

with what ive done i could easily minor in pol. science not to lose the classes ive alrdy taken, but from what ive gathered. im going to have to take an extra semester to finish.

Well...right out of high school I did 2 semesters of Business Adm. Then I did almost 2 years @ Robert Morgan, for Auto tech, and I'm back in business adm. and I don't regret it one bit...do what you like, what makes you feel good and will benefit you, but not just for the $$$ because you won't be happy...

Why not just do a double major? Btw - FBI has certain majors defined as "in demand" - you might wanna look thru those too.

If you have the funds to keep going to school, then by all means keep going. Just don't dig yourself in a hole...

i know. thats why i was planning on going in as an agent. a friend of mines who worked for the fbi told me after X years they'll pay for law school so i can get my degree and become an advisor for them
