where to get exhaust??

any1 know of a place i can get a catback exhaust for my 93 camaro z28?.Preferably SLP.magnaflows will do also.Cheapest ive seens SLP's is 490 cuz of the extra stuff i need for my LT1.and ive seen magnaflows for 340. any1 know if i can get anything for 250-350? (even cheaper would be better lol)

IMO the best sounding/performing catbacks for an LT1 powered F-car would be the Borla catback w/ blockoff plate (pricey), Magnaflow catback (kinda pricey) and the SLP Loudmouth (a little cheaper than the Magnaflow and a hell of a lot louder).. if your getting headers, i say go with longtubes.. if ur going w/ shorties then get a nice Y-pipe to go along with it..

if you want a quick fix, just get a cutout installed.. shouldnt be more than 80 bucks tops... oh ya stay away from Flowmaster :wink:

what you CAN do.. if ur dead set on getting a catback is finding a shop that does nice Mandrel bent stuff (not ESR) , ive had good luck with Miami Muffler with my car.. and i have a 2.5" mandrel bent header back setup, cutouts behind the collectors, H-pipe , and magnaflows.. and i paid less than 350 bucks for that setup.. i supplied the cutouts tho.. i mean you get what you pay for.. i havent had any complaints with my "custom" setup, only thing i did after a few yrs with this setup was to get it ceramic coated.. just make sure its mandrel bent if u want optimum performance
