Its a 6.
Only reason I got them was because I wanted to see at night. With the blackouts my car didnt give off any light at all.

I like em, and this coming from someone who hates mustangs
Sorry but the car is 100% riced out. We comment about cars trying to be other cars all day long. You have a cobra R body kit and tyc headlights do your self a favor sell everything on it go buy a 5.0 or 4.6 swap and enjoy the mustang for what it is....................... a muscle car not a rice box

But those are not TYC, they don't make headlights for the mustang.

Since the topic of the thread is the headlights, I'll say that they look pretty nice.
Off-topic, why ever buy a V6 Mustang? Please don't even say insurance or fuel cost because if that's a concern then you really shouldn't buy a sports car in the first place.

i think its because they are cheaper. The v6 wasnt that expensive compared to the gt when they were out. In fact more v6 mustangs sold then v8's. alot of people bought them more for styling then performance

Simple, I paid $4000 for this car with 70k on the clock and its a 2000 over 2 years ago.
I was out looking for a 5.0 notch or a 94-95 5.0 vert. Drove each and didnt like the notch for daily driving purposes, the 3 5.0 verts I drove (SN95) were all automatics and were slow as shit. I didnt want to buy a "5.0" and run slower 1/4 times then this v6.
My car is at about 3000lbs right now. Its a no option coupe. 190hp is a lot more then the 140 these used to have back in 1997 etc. This isnt a racecar, its a daily driver which sits in a 1+ hour commute to work and the 1+ hour commute home from work Monday-Friday. Each of the aftermarket parts on the car replaced something that was either in terrible condition or just messed up. I didnt plan to mod the 6, its just how things played out. I turn 21 in 6 months and at that point will either go with a built 4.2 with Twin Turbos or just start looking for a new project. Maybe 03 Cobra, maybe lightning maybe vette, I havent decided yet.
People talk a lot of shit about v6 mustangs but its mostly those people who "live their life 1/4 at a time" or just like to run their mouth. There is more to a car then racing, if I wanted a fast car I would buy a beater looking civic and stuff a fat turbo on a gsr motor. I wanted something that looked nice and got peoples attentions immediately. And a mustang isnt a sports car, its a pony car. Its a 4 passenger coupe. Insurance is indeed much cheaper for the v6 model, fuel isnt much different, the v6s arent known for getting good gas mileage. Maybe on the highway, but in the city it sucks bad.
if you buy a muscle car chances are you want to go fast A mustang is a muscle car you just bought its pussy twin

A mustang isnt a muscle car.
you cant be serious what is a muscle car than?
you cant be serious what is a muscle car than?come now, there may be a version of the car that is considered a muscle car (cobra) but not the general stang.
the mustang was considered a muscle car no matter what version
the mustang was considered a muscle car no matter what versionhow can you consider a V6 or even a I4 as a muscle car.
I think you have to re-evaluate your thinking on this one bro.

I like the stang and i have seen it around.
I dont like the headlights IMHO. I like the rest of the stang.
I've seen a turbo v6 run hard as hell. Built with a T66.
lighter then a GT too.
He had it for road racing and the light weight with all the suspension work he had done to it he was placing top 5 in SCCA races.
The guy actually gave me a spin. and once boost was in it was gone.

Dont know but he was running against GT-1 chassis car ( my bosses toy). That day was crazy i even saw a Mid engine focus. That shit was bad
ass. I should have taken pictures... There is aways sebring and homstead.
This was in Daytona BTW
If any one is interested they are club racing this weekend at homstead.
Alot of fast cars are going to be there (nothing street legal).
After going 185 on a straight away, street racing seems kinda slow...
