Chevrolet's 911 Turbo-killer Corvette ZR1 hit 205 mph, or 330 km/h for you Europhiles, on a test track in Papenburg, Germany. And General Motors has the video to prove it.

Notice at 10 seconds where the car pulls once he's told to step on it. Great low end torque with the Eaton blower.

They said the C6 would do 186mph but it will go much faster just like the Z06 being rated at 198mph. So I would venture to guess the 205mph is a simple GM rating.

Guys have gone well over 186mph on a stock C6. You have to also remember that there are clearly two people in the car with test equipment.

kthxbaiI think there's no need for the first two but a spray pulley and tune would be great.

sick vid, choppin up the GTR lawlSo is the price. Lol. Awesome how you compare this to a 70K car. Isn't this car going to be 225k or 125k? I forgot. But yeah, no comparison to the GTR.

:run:

The track is normally used for testing new models and vehicle components.

If GM can do a Top speed test why can't a commercial truck company like Volvo...or whatever that is. There is plenty of space.

It's "just" 205 mph... not a 300mph Veyron rocket.
