Now dont take my word for it, but my buddy had a similar question and he told me that because of his degree program that it would not count for him. He studied Mechanical Engineering about 2 years ago in FIU. Maybe your program allows it? What are you studying? Let me know because i have a friend that also use to work for FIU in registration office so he may know.

if you know a language well enough, then you can probably just take the test for it and be exempt from the language elective requirements.

that's what i did for spanish. i took the test and got 100% so they gave me the max amnt. of credits, which satisfied their requirements.

i didn't ask about the high school stuff though. even though i took two years of french. c'est la vie!
