federal stafford subsidized loan (fss loan)

how do i go about trying to attain the subsidized loan? i have the unsubsidized.. i want to see how i can try to get the subsidized.

thats not something u can decide.

i think depending on salary..parents salary (if ur @ home) they offer the unsubsidized...if not they dont give a fawk.

i forgot which one it is that u start paying after u graduate.

when you go to the financial aid section of your panthersoft . . . does it have any offered subsidized loans? if so, all you have to do is check it off as accepted and then select the bank that will fund the loan.

nah, im at USF now!! woot woot! i have to take that off . but i have the unsubsidized, but i want the subsidized..the one which you get interest after you graduate.

if youre at the undergraduate level, subsidized loans are determined through a demonstration of need.... ie your income, parents income, that sort of thing.

if youre a graduate student, i believe you are automatically eligible for the maximum amount, both subsidized and unsubsidized.

either way you have to submit a fafsa with tax return paperwork.
