LOL u Zulu Nation cracka!!! Those servers are so congested, it's sickening.

The most accurate stats, come from a local server. :owneddanc

The closest remote server stats, was from Speakeasy, in NYC (since I'm from NY, that would be the logical choice for my region)...
Download Speed: 9825 kbps (1228.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1739 kbps (217.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

If you wanna be a smartass, I also did Speakeasy, in ATL...
Download Speed: 7702 kbps (962.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1801 kbps (225.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Yeah, cNet and bandwidthplace are too congested to get anything remotely as accurate, as my local server.

I'm using Verizon's Aircard.

Speed: 850.5 Kbps - You 850.5 kbps
Bandwidthplace: The speed result was too high or too low
The speed test will not accept results that are negative or too high for the indicated connection type. This test was not counted.
Speakeasy: 811download and 4965upload.

I was downloading something at the time, but it's still respectable I think.

Yeah, DSL questionable, when it comes to reliability. Therefore...

for once, i agree with you

i had dsl for about 3 years and it was only down twice and for less than 24 hours in those 3 years, my cable goes down at least once a month for a few hours, and every few months it'll go down for a few days. i only keep it because its soo much faster.

Different effects for everyone, as soon as my power was back after both storms i had dsl connection. Really depends on the area you live in and how bad the damage was.
