its actually this event comming up. and yea its gonna be inside
taken from the ER website:
Feb 26th Event will be held INSIDE Homestead-Miami Speedway (2-20-06)
Due to a scheduling conflict (again) with the Karts at HMS, we will NOT be running in our usual spot. However, HMS has offered us the use of the INSIDE of the speedway for our event. The exact course layout is yet to be determined, but rest assured this will be a unique experience!
Access to the inside of HMS is off Palm Ave (SW 344th St) on the South side of the speedway. (aerial view)
Don't miss your chance to AutoX INSIDE Homestead-Miami Speedway!

not my first time competing in DSP. It is a quick group, but not because of the mods.
let me clarify that. engine mods.
(my suspension mods include progress springs and agx struts, still need the damn Kuhmo v710's)

Yah that is definitely a quick little group. Especially the blue ep3 and the green lude. Have you thought of just your cat back in and running in STS?? There's always a lot of competition in our neck of the woods.
Hell you could run in it now, I wouldnt protest the stupid cat rule.

yea at the last event it was the green lude, the ep3 and then me so i im happy with being the quickest guy in my group on stock tires =p

most all the autoX clubs i race with have a Novice class. you don't get out of it til you're a year old at racing.
but the reason for a split day is.. you get these noobs out on the track, going the wrong direction, refusing to show up to work, and all around just being assholes, and it really makes it difficult for those of us who take it a bit more seriously to have an enjoyable event.
has very little to do with gettin ur ass handed to you by a pro.. that happens to me all the time. granted, they have 2-300 more horsepower than me.

Um not everyone there has 200 or 300 hundred more horspower than you and are still more than capable of handing you your ass......
Novice classes are designed to let those that are just starting out compete amongst themselves and not get discouraged. People that have been autoxing for decades get lost at nationals....it happens to everyone one time or the other. The people that don't want to work usually never show up again. 99% percent of noobs do what they need to do. This whole elitist attitude is the wrong way to look at things because the veterans helping out new people is one of the best things about this sport. Many of the multi-national championship winners are there because they competed heads up with veterans.

Um not everyone there has 200 or 300 hundred more horspower than you and are still more than capable of handing you your ass......
you are correct. Darren DiSimo can hand us all our asses with a Cstock miata.

not trying to be elitist, it's just annoying to work the course with a bunch of people who refuse to pay attention, spend the entire working time on their cell phones, or taking pictures, leaving the rest of us running cones, calling them in, and being PREPARED to red flag a wayward noob. it's irresponsible and obnoxious.
obviously you're not a noob so please disregard.
and i hope to hell it DOES rain tomorrow cuz i'm coming prepared for EITHER :) :) take THAT McLean!!!

so what you are saying is since you already are involved in autox, fuck everybody else that wants to do it. because they are potential fuck ups. everybodys shit stinks the same. ive they are fucking up let them know. trying to put everybody in one boat is a bad idea.

not my point. ignorance is a whole different thing than attitude. i know people who have the noob attitude that've autoXed longer than i have.
