what do i have to do to get papers, be legal to have one (a pistola) , etc.

I want to basically start going to a shooting range, like markham or something, and have it for December 21, 2012 ... :domo:

How old are you. Florida law requires that a person be 21 years of age for a handgun, but only 18 for a rifle.

That being said, you dont need any special license to own a weapon in the state of florida. You only need a Concealed Weapons Permit if you wish to carry it on your person. You can either go to any gun shop or the gun show and purchase a weapon. You do however need to fill out the standard paperwork for purchasing a weapon. The paperwork is completed during your transaction and the background check. After that you still wont recieve your weapon for 5 days which is the standard waiting period while they file/check your paperwork. After the 5 days pass you can enjoy your weapon. Make sure you read the florida gun laws so you know your rights on defending yourself. Its very important to be informed.

No it is not considered concealed carry for two reason.Its alot to explain so i rather you read the link i provided at the bottom of this post, but let me try to sum it up.

1. Because you are allowed to keep a handgun in your private conveyance without a permit as long as the handgun is not readily accesible and in its holster. The "Castle Law" extends to your private conveyance basically.

2. When traveling to and from activities like Shooting ranges and hunting. It is o.k to have your weapon in your vehicle.

Depends. I actually see more deals on rifles than handguns. Depends on what your looking for though.

You are not able to purchase or be in possesion of a fully automatic weapon. Lets say you buy a Glock 18 and tweek it to be full auto. You will officially have broken the law.

MP5's are a trip to shoot on full auto. this was the first time I shot one, you can tell by the "holy muzzle lift batman".
video sucks because I didn't realize there was only like 6 or 7 rounds left in the mag and we never got around to the cellphone movie making again :lawl:

homie already has ammo from the office so I don't know what we'll do. maybe buy a box or 2 from the range and slowly replenish with our ammo? If that's the case then at least it will allow for a couple "off the wall empty the full clip for no reason" sessions.
