hey anyone know how to connect a battery in the back of your car for amps n woofers n shit?

you need long think wires, (0 guage?) that can go all the way to the trunk, to extend the battery wires under the hood. you also need a battery box, you can probably pick one up at murrays or summit.com

how much are those boxes like 20 or 30 bucks right? anything else I might need distributor block, fuse block? I have my system hooked up to the alternator n shit.

To be fair I know a lot of people who know about cars...as in engine-wise, but know nothing about the audio aspect besides the simple stuff.
I know how to wire a radio and speakers and amps in a car no prob but I don't know how to do the second battery in the back.

thanks lol my neighbor bought a brand new charger and put an optima batt in it..I saw he was gonna throw his away and he let me keep it. I saw a car with that type of batt in the back but I dont know if itll work u get me? so I wanna try it if u happen to find a site or a diagram or something like that, that shows how to do it then let me know..thanks.

try looking up the how to for a battery relocation kit. that will help tons i'm sure. they also sell battery relocation kits on ebay for a great price (i got mine there), in case you want a nice box and everythin' for it. It will also bring the wires/cables that you need to extend the connections from under the hood to the trunk.
