Spyware this, spyware that

Ok so...apparently spyware is the "in" thing nowadays....

Question is, which one have you found most effective?? Since there's like at least 3 different ones that are the top-rated. Spysweeper and Spy Doctor among those 3.

I currently run Spysweeper, but....since I was up I decided to do some comparisons...so I d/l Spyware Nuker XT, turns out it found a couple of registry items here and there that Spysweeper didn't pick up. But then again that goes with ALL or ANY anti-spyware and/or anti-virus program. One will pick up sum that the others won't.

So to add a point to this thread, who uses which?? How effective have you found it to be??

I heard MS Defender, By Microsoft is very good byfar. I dont have it cause i dont have a "good" copy of XP..

i used ms antispyware and ewido security suite. that aboot it. ewido works well. used it here @ work once and my supervisor was impressed by all the shit it found.

go to download.com and DL all the free ones with good reviews....and use them all thats what i did, works like a charm

Now that you guys mention MS Anti-Spyware, most techs at work tell me that it's crap cuz it's still a beta version. I don't know if that might have changed recently or if they fixed all the bugs in it. I appreciate the feedback from everyone though. Reason why I like Spysweeper is cuz it alerts you of EVERYTHING, but then again like I mentioned, it made me question it when Spyware Nuker XT found some registry items that the other didn't. Lol, I guess the only way to be safe is to d/l n run all of them!

lol spybot...adaware...registry cleaner...are all things i have tried...registry cleaner is not bad for the really hidden spyware that digs into yor registry and fucks with you until you can finally find it out and whoop its ass...ha ha
