So long story short.....my friend's k20 swapped sol got stolen from his work the other day. Pretty sure it was the shop who did the work on the car (there was a little mishap with a "missing key")....so if anyone in the south florida area sees a k20 for sale, or any of the other things from a captiva blue Del sol, please let me know. He's probably one of those guys that think, "It'll never happen to me" and then this happens :( sorry for the loss.

big mistake on his part. I always have various thef deterants even when my car was bone stock. you just never know

Oh no. Thats a potentially a lot of money thats gone...I look out for it if anything. He should've changed the locks and lowjacked the car.

Did your friend at least report about the missing key at the shop to the local authorities?
if they can do anything about it ,stake out the place.
Its hard to say if the shop or shop's friends had anything to do with it.
Sorry to hear about the mishalp but how did that car run ? as far as body weight ratio with those new K series motor? anyways good luck

a del sol is an eg... the S (base) model is ~2300lbs ;) people think they're all pigs. the heaviest (vtec) is ~2500lbs
