why so much ram? I thought PCs wont use that much unless you are editing videos, editing photos, burning a cd a dvd and downloading mp3s all at once?

When RAM is placed in it'll be read and utilized... the good thing about having an abundence(sp?) of ram placed in a PC will leave that much room for the PC to be=reath and run smoother... I do a lot of graphics and my cousin does some video editing on the pc... granted, not all at the same time lol

In other words... its like boosting a car.. modding pc has the same side-affects as modding a car, you always want more.
