Late lastnight driving home on the 826 i encountered a bright yellow EK hatch, he pulled up next to me and asked me if i wanted to run so i said yeah why not considering i just got tuned by the one and only VTC. So we ran like 6 times lost once due to miss shift. So we pulled into gas station so i could show him what i got because he thought i was on SPRAY...NOTTTT. Only to find out he was on BOOST (b16 on boost) Had my camera on me so i took some quick pics

damn man, same guy be getting roped by OG SLOW EG all day. lol... its funny actually. i forgot what the hell his name is, but he gots 5 lug...
its a greddy kit... "18g with a 60-1 compressor wheel inside" on a "built b16" but it looks like ass. lol... i wish i had my car that day to run him and hand him his ass. i think he is still running around untuned. for some reason he thinks it fast.

edit* 6 runs and u won 5 of them... he was high or something. there is a time to keep on and a time to stop. lol
GSR with pretty much all the bolt ons you can think of.
Yeah he was also telling me that he was untuned, but still i was really surprised

I remember when I was sohc vtec w/ a t3/t04b turbo set up and i ran the car u have now with the old owner. he beat me a few times and i beat him too. it was a cat and mouse game for me because N/a pulled on me nasty like 3 cars and my turbo was slow at spooling... but i cought back up. i was tuned for 6psi and only made like 160 so i think he (guy in yellow car) prolly had less power then that... that big ass JG intake isnt helping him much without a decent tune.

No cams or anything like that just bolt ons, now the car is a little diff from b4. I think that EK is putting close to 200 or more

maybe 200whp... maybe, but he prolly got like 140-160 tq too. but like i said... without a tune its really worthless.

I once raced a guy 5 times on the road when I was boosted...He wouldnt accept defeat so I told him no more man...but yeah it is pretty much pointless running around untuned cause your not getting the full potential power out of it plus you are asking for detonation to happend.

that shit is dirt slow.....i ran him off of my 7psi wastgate and killed him by 3-4 cars spinning 2nd. if i would of had my boost controller on to 11psi, i would have probably pulled trains on him.....hes one of my friends friends but he doesnt know jack shit.

from what i concluded is that the car is still on 6psi of boost. its running around untuned, losing a lot of power with the JG intake manifold, some whack base map because I dont see the FMU and inline fuel pump he use to run.
soo... that means he was prolly making 160hp and his car ran liek shit top end. he really doesnt know shit about cars. lol

On only 7psi, GDM_Z28 was whoring SC'd GSR's and otherwise boosted B16s and such, and that's with a much older and far more tired B18A1.
If he hasn't spun the rollers, then he (much less you) knows what he's making, but it obviously isn't enough if jdm-93eg6 took care of him in a bolt-on GSR.

Come on now, your comparing apples to oranges. A SC GSR isnt all that fast and well b16-t is just that. TORQUELESS, ok the GSR might pull a little quicker, but then the LS has torque and then top end to play with. SC cars usually lack top end, which is known.
In any case, guy isnt too bright with tuning a car in general... so thats the end of that.

PSI is irrelevant......whp is what u should be worried about.....im not sure how much CFM a supercharger pushes but i know a turbo would push more

cause that b16 hatch N/A (with boltons) should definetely be a drivers race vs. a integra gsr with bolt ons.

You might trap 120+ mph, but if that slips says 13.XX then its no good. Just means the car has potential and u such as a driver. :cool:
Respect is given to a driver and their car for BOTH trap speed as well as 1/4 times.

when it comes to street racing, WHP vs PSI is completely different. 10psi on a T3 means nothing on a SC61. The T3 might spool quicker, but the SC61 at 10psi can make a lot more whp and therefore catch up quicker and have more highend.

You are also forgetting that a sc61 on 10 psi isnt as efficent as 10 psi on a T#...displacement matters as well and so does the shit yaniel said....theres so much shit to look at.
