It ALL depends on what Bluetooth capabilities your phone has....
And btw....the proper name is as simple as....a bluetooth USB adapter....
Research is your friend....

^ reading pwnz joo.
what you need is soundforge. so you can snip a piece of the song and save it to its own file. soundforge is really simple but its not free. i dont even know of any free audio programs.

Umm...what did I miss?? Anyone can have bluetooth on their phone and think they can do all the wireless data transferring they want, but then later they find out the actual model of the phone can only transfer certain things....by saying that I'm still not sure what I missed. I feel more than comfortable with my reading comprehension so....come again????
Oh yeah and Soundforge is a good option, only way I can think of it or any other software being free is finding the torrent for it, if that's something he's familiar with, if not, be sure to have at least $100 saved up.....

Umm  I...know.....that. Just felt like writing the proper name for it. It's more of a "me" thing than anything else. But I appreciate your concern for my comprehension, although I got it down-packed! :wiggle:
Anyhoo, where were we???

*sigh*
It'll only allow his CPU to "pick up" his cell phone.
And of course it can't chop up songs. But again....
Ok plain and simple, Leo...Mr. I've worked for and still work for a mobile carrier, you should know this by now, in order to transfer the actual song to the computer to edit it, to then transfer it back to your phone, it depends if your phone supports that type of data transfer. I've sat there and tried to say this to numerous ppl that I've ran into at work, that's the 1st thing that comes out of my mouth, and they insist it's gonna work, couple of days later I see them in line at customer service in the return/exchange line, with the adapter or software in their hand.
But then again shit like this reminds me as to why I never give my opinion or advice on forums, cuz theres always doubts and the but what ifs and the know it alls....so do what you gotta do homeboy.....I can only hope you can keep in mind what I tell you.....

what i do is chop the song up and then upload it to my ftp and then open my phone's browser and direct it to my ftp and download the song and voila all done. no need for bluetooth connectors. and even then, the rzor comes with a usb adapter so i can transfer it to the phone with p2ktoolz. everyone has a different method.
im using the v557 my company doesnt want to spend the extra 30 bux for a razr but i like it :)
