Of course hunters would shoot polar bears when they are sleeping. Why not? They want an easy kill. Either way, its not a very fair fight when you consider that these bears get shot from 200 yards away and have 0 chance. The bear was 100% justified in trying to kill the hunter before that hunter would try to kill him. This is nature, kill or be killed.
