It'll probably look just as good, on XB360.

If XB360 would look like that then I'll pitty them lol... thats on medium settings :D

XBOX360 will need one 7900GTX card to run this game perfectly... on ultra of course

I don't think XB360 will have a problem topping the graphics, over the PC version. It's the playability that concerns me.

I personally prefer a Keyboard + Mouse in FPS games than a controller... I play so much better in Halo Combat Evolved on PC than regular Halo and Halo 2... plus I prefer the FPS engines of Quake and Doom series since they are far better than microsoft's Halo... Halo = so slow compared to ID Soft's shit lol.

Plus, even though an Xbox 360 is virtually a computer... and is souly for gameplay (which could be added a seperate GUI to make it to any regular PC) I doubt it can top a top of the line computer.

One main thing I see thats a plus is the 3 symmetrical(sp?) cores running at 3.2GHz... but the sad part is, 1MB L2 cache... not 3 x 1MB L2 Cache... an AMD FX-60 will rape that bitch... even an FX-56... it has an ATI card... Nvidia > ATI...

Now a xbox 360 doesn't have to worry about multiple processes running at the same time as a PC does.. (AIM.exe, ypager.exe, iexplorer.exe etc etc...)

I never said an Xbox 360 is a crappy gaming system, just that it'll never meet the quality and power or a high-end gaming machine. You being a tech yourself should know this.

Being that an xbox is a high-end gaming console and high-end PC will tear that to shreds. Given, my wife's PC is pretty fast but not the top of the class in gaming machines.

It has;
AMD AthlonXP 2100+ (3000+ will be here this week meaning more cache memory FSB 333MHZ)
2GB of DDR RAM (PC2700)
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS
MSI Board (forgot which one exactly, but I'm planning on getting a new board since its having problems with its AGP slot and that it only holds up to 4x)
ATI Radeon 9600XT w/ 256MB GDDR2 8x card (capped at 4x for now, thus the new board that is needed)
WD1600JB (Western Digital 160GB HDD Ultra ATA100) *Looking for a second 160GB HDD to make it a 320*

All in all it runs both Doom 3 and Quake 4 really good at Medium and High settings... just not in ultra.

The Xbox is way better than this system but again as I said before an xbox or any console for that matter doesn't have to worry about other processes taking up on the processor.

I never placed the arguement on you - moreso, disillusioned.

And you're right about a high-end PC having better quality and power, because the requirements are growing higher in demand, on a daily basis, unlike settling with the same configuration of a console.

And yes, I enjoy PC gaming over console gaming, with the use of the mouse/keyboard combo, because of it's extended variability with gameplay.

Furthermore, my profession does not revolve around PC gaming, nor do I care to keep up with the newest games and gaming accessories out there, which make the PC gaming industry a very costly hobby. However, I do see your point. ;)

I'm not saying that your perfession or anyone that is a tech have to revolve around gaming, just figured you'd know the difference between which and who could top who. PC gaming and keeping up with it is a costly hobby, but its the person's decision to keep up with it ;)

If I were to build a monster PC, its for me.. not to make make it compatable with the game(s) I want. I've had my 9600XT for a while... just so happens I pirated Q4 and Doom 3... so I wanted to try it out on this PC... I still want to max this PC out, but for fun :)

extremy, youre getting bent out of shape for nothing.

i just thought it was funny that you would compare a console to a pc.
