It's finaly got a release time frame. Can't wait till it comes out! I haven't been able to find a release date for it yet but it is supposed to be early 2007.
Yeah I was thinking the same damn thing, 2007 WTF!

If you have an XBOX 360 you can watch a high definition preview of the game. It's just that a teaser, it give no precursor to the game and I hate that kind of junk, it doesn't even hint as to anything more than it's halo 3. But cool to watch none the less.

from they do have planned releases of all kinds of thing from now till then. The bungie website has a couple desktops available for download in a variety of sizes. gears of war looks pretty good, but so does the rainbow six: las vegas as well.
I have a nice 37 inch LCD HDTV with a 8ms refresh rate so no bluring and some seats about 7 feet from it just for use with the 360. pluss a nice 600 watt system

is there even a difference in the component video to the HDMI connection?
the boss system is nice and all, but you can't beat a 300 deal from an old room mate that wrecked his car and needed money to fix it. it orginally was a 700 dollar system. and i got it after he owned it for a month.

IVE BEN THINKING ABOUT GETTING THE HDMI BUT I REALLY DONT KNOWwell i just did some more research on it and it just might be worth it.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) The highest-bandwidth digital-to-digital connection currently available for home theater electronics, allowing the direct transmission of uncompressed digital video and audio signals between compatibly equipped devices via a single cable. HDMI connectivity bypasses the signal-degrading digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital conversions that are necessary with lesser connection types like component video, providing the ultimate in digital picture and sound performance. All HDMI connections support HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection), allowing the transmission of copy-protected high-definition content. Depending on the application, an HDMI connector may function as either an input or an output.
HDMI is backward-compatible for video only with DVI (Digital Video Interface) via a readily available adapter. Since DVI does not provide for audio signals, a separate audio connection must be used when converting HDMI to DVI or vice versa.

HDMI is the shit.. its better than componant inputs for the fact that you get audio and video in the same cable...downside is that it's expensive. Ive got the Mitsubishi 62 inch LCD Projection TV Bose 3-2-1 and a recliner.

Haven't had to use the word expensive ever since good ole' Best Buy for Business employed me. You guys will laugh if I tell you how much I get HDMI cables for. Our cost for home theater accessories is extremely low....
And Lester, it makes a HUGE difference. Component just gives you video, HDMI combines both digital audio & video, and it's the highest quality type of connection you can get. You won't regret getting it.
In order of quality from least to greatest you got s-video, component, DVI (video only) and HDMI.
If you need an HDMI Lester hit me up, I'll get one for you dirt cheap. And I ain't kiddin when I say dirt.....
