Comcast or DSL

I getting high-speed shortly. Should I get DSL or Comcast and WHY?

If you plan on getting DSL call the DSL provider and see if you have good reception from their main hub from your location... if not go Comcast...

Comcast is def good they have pretty good speeds as far as dsl you have to call to see what they offer DSL didnt want to work to well for me

Really depends in the area you live in for DSL... my father has Xtreme 3.0 and is running at optimal level... we're running Bellsouth's Ultra package which is 1.5Mbps/256Kbps and we're running super slower than what is advertised due to the area. So, it all depends. Comcast is fast but not constant.

comcast its brighthouse here... they got 7mbps and 5 mbps then theres dsl in 3mbps and 2 mbps... im gonna get 7 megs again...oh its sooo god like.

The different is that dsl comes straight from the phone line and its directed to your house and only your house. That bad part about cable is that for an area theres one box and everyone connects from it, so all the connections bieng used lag it up...

I have had both and Bellsouth DSL has not failed me yet... Comcast on the other hand went out at least once a week. Just call up their hotline and listen to how many outages they have per day.

if you have Fibre go with Cable because bellsouth will leave you stuck at 1.5/256...

Also, I like the consistancy with DSL but my cable is faster than my DSL was at all times of the day... unfortunately...(I like DSL)

they are both good and bad, fiber optic cable that goes out sometimes or the DSL that gets stuck in the same connection and doesn't go out but it lags the connection when more than 1 pc is on...

I'll tell you something about Bell South, only because my company has contracts with them...

They are a huge company, in the commercial end of their business, and they don't give a fuck residential.

ibe had my comcast for about a month ...and i gotta say i love it

download speeds are never the same but it never download at lees than 400/kb

most the time its at 600-700kb and sometimes @ 1100-1200kb
