i have yet to find out what the hell the unlocked shit means. what is supposed to mean for the phone?

I did searches on ebay earlier and i see all these sidekicks that say they are unlocked and crap.

same thing with the RAZR V3X

unlocked means that you are able to use your mobile with any carrier that carry the same band, like GSM, T-Mobile, Cingular AT&T Rogers, and those others that carry that band. That means you can give me your t-mobile chip and put it to my unlocked mobile, or any unlocked one with the same band and it will work. Verizon and Sprint I think are CDMA, im not sure...
