which 360 games to get?

I'm gonna pickup an xbox 360, which two games should i get, i'm moe interested in online multiplayer than singleplayer games. are there any good sports online multiplayer games?

oh forgot about COD2 that is a damn good game. You should get that, they are suposed to be coming out with a COD3 as well early 07

oh and i rented cod2, and i'm just gonna get a gamefly subscription and do it that way. 22 bucks a month, 2 games out at a time.

if ur into multiplayer online id say get cod 2 but cod 3 is coming out in november and its gonna be even better , 12 vs 12 instead of 4 vs 4

most of the badass games are coming out in the next 4 months

I just got a 360 last week, and besides FullAuto, I've really been unimpressed with the system. I bought cromehounds, and played like 2 missions and quit, I really hate the controls. Is that how all the shooter games are on xbox? After playing games (counterstrike.... lots and lots of counter strike) on computer, I can't get used to using a little stick to aim.

yea im in the same shoes... i play a lot of counter strike source.

So far as for 1st person shooters i've played call of duty 2 and i'm still waiting on ghost recon 2 to get to my house, should have it tomm. And yea really tough to get a hang of using a controller, i've been getting my ass kicked online.

On the other hand i've also played moto gp 06 (full version) and a bunch of the demos and gotta admit xbox live is the shit. I'm waiting on saints row, gears of war and test drive unlimited though.

Overall i'm impressed by the total package (streaming mp3's from my pc, xbox live arcade, Wireless controller), but the games themselves have been weak.
