1. If you need to cook some shit and you dont have any gas or any shit during or after the storm this ghetto trick will get you through which I used for katrina. You take an aluminum container cut two holes for air on the side and pour some rubbing alcohol into the container. Light it up and the flame will go up and you can cook with that shit. I used that trick to fry me some eggs and boil some water.

2. Seasoned meat lasts longer then unseasoned meat

Post up anything else you can think of

if ur family is from a third world country they more than likely have pounds of raw meat in the freezer that they never planned on cooking but kept stacking up. this is wat u will be bbq-ing and eating day after day till electricity comes back

re-cook over low heat until consumed, near the end u end up eating jerky or throwing it away

That happened to me last hurricane, I had like 20lbs of steak in the freezer, good thing I have a large family, they tore that shit up in less than 1 day.. on the BBQ

good one, I remember back in the day before refridgerators what they used to do was salt the meat to keep it from going bad.

heres a good tip. do not go driving around when youre in the eye. getting hit by the eye wall when in a car is not fun.
