lol what kind of pc do you have? it should have one of the pc hands down.
you sure you don't have one man, most have them integrated with the modem.
look for 2 plugs next to each other.
Also what is your computer manufacter and such?
ethernet cards are cheap as dirt, maybe max of 40 bucks, but i'm sure you can find one in the 20 dollar range.
If you don't want to running cords from were ever your router will to your desktop you can get yourself a USB wireless adapter so that you can connect to the router without any wires. They normally run in the range of 40-50 for those. Sometimes you can luck and get them for around 30 bucks.
Ethernet cards are a little involved to put into the computer. You have to take the computer apart and such. So don't do it yourself unless the card comes with some nice detailed "for computer illiterate folk" instrusctions.

He'd need the ethernet card to setup the router. You can always get a usb ethernet adapter too.
He'd need the ethernet card to setup the router. You can always get a usb ethernet adapter too.most of them auto default to have wireless access to be able to reach the IP address of the router.
I know both of my linksys routers had that as the default option.

You should've gotten a USB adapter. :slap:
nah. turns out it was something pretty simple. just the conversion from usb to ethernet was unpleasant for me.
