my alarm keep setting off by itself? what could it be give me some input

maybe one of the motion sensors is bad. maybe one of the sensors that tell u a door or trunk or hood is open is bad. if it's unbearable, try puttin' it on valet till u can figure it out.

its a pain in the ass my alarm and my horn go off how do i check the sensors?

i really don't know how you would check them yourself. I know that if you have for example a hood sensor, that it's generally a little thing that kinda sticks out upwards and clicks down (like a button would) when u close the hood. I guess u can check the electric going to that and make sure it's ok. Other sensors would probably be wired up to whatever in ur car determines that a door or trunk is ajar, but that varies on your car, the alarm, and who installed it. Likewise with the sensors. Your best bet is to take it to an alarm place unless u can find someone you know that really knows about wiring when it comes to that kinda stuff. THere is an alarm place across the street from Señor Stereo on bird road. They're really nice people and know their stuff.

i bet its your shock sensor (monitors the vibration caused to the frame of your car.) the sensitivity is prob too high. usually these are attached to your steering column somewhere and can be adjusted with a flathead screwdriver, but if you dont know anything about alarms then spdracerchick is right you should just take it to professionals.

If you have a hood pin switch Ill bet that it's loose. Check your door pins for security as well.

DO NOT PUT UR CAR IN VALET! thats what i did and thats how i got my shit took...any theif can tell if ur car is in valet...shit even if u arent u should be able to tell...but yea it might be ur hood pin (that was mine) or it could be some1 fucking with u trying to get u to put it in valet who knows...but let it go off (keep an eye on it) andtake it to the shop soon as u get a chance...
